Paul Meijering Metalen and 3X3 Unites extend partnership for third year in a row
In 2023, we are once again participating in 3X3 Unites' grand ambitions.
After partnerships at the 3X3 Unites Challenger 2021 and the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Utrecht Masters in 2022, this year we will again be one of the main sponsors of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Amsterdam Masters at the Gashouder in Amsterdam on 6 and 7 October.
A partner that inspires 3X3 Unites
Jesper Jobse, co-founder of 3X3 Unites says of the partnership: "Paul and Conny have been inspiring us for years with the wonderful way they run their business. They are always there for staff, but they also provide vulnerable people in society with opportunities they don't get elsewhere. As a growing organisation, we learn a lot from this. Having Paul Meijering Metalen on board again this year strengthens our confidence that we are taking the right steps."
Paul and Conny Meijering are also happy to extend the partnership. "We are thrilled to make the move to Amsterdam with 3X3 Unites after two grandiose events in Utrecht. 3X3 Unites exceeds expectations every year. We are very much looking forward to it!", says Paul Meijering, CEO of the company.
Sustainability plays an important role in the cooperation
Both 3X3 Unites and Paul Meijering Metalen are committed to sustainability. In order to contribute to awareness among young people and to offer a functional solution against disposable plastic, we jointly commissioned stainless steel drinking bottles that we give away to participants throughout the From the Streets to the World Tour route. It is now the second year in a row and thus the second edition of the bottle. Thus, it is gradually becoming a collectors' item within the community.
Stainless steel trophies and medals
Paul Meijering's customisation department is also making the iconic trophies and medals for both the 3x3 Street League, the 3x3 PRO League and the World Tour for the third year in a row now. The laser cutted stainless steel medals and trophies are of the highest quality. Due to their striking design and weighty materials, the awards are starting to become a household name in the 3x3 world. Winners proudly wear their 'chains' every year and only the very best get to lift the trophy into the air.
